How to measure for garments...
Measurements
Using a soft, fabric type, Tailors Tape.
Men & Boys For Frocks, Weskits and Shirts…(* = Measure around…..)
1. *Neck
2. *Chest (At Nipples)
3. *Waist (At Navel)
4. Nape to Butt (See Below)
5. Arm (See Below)
Nape to Butt measurement is found by measuring from the small bone at the bottom of the back of the neck to the bottom of the butt cheeks.
The Arm measurement is found by measuring from the edge of The front muscle (that makes up the arm pit) to the wrist Bone behind the thumb, with the arm extended straight out From the side.
Do not measure arm if purchasing a Weskit.
Men & Boys For Drop-Front and French Fly Trousers…
(* = Measure around…..)
1. *Waist (At Navel)
2. Inseam (note, the best way to determine your inseam measure is to measure the inside seam of a pair of good fitting Khaki type casual pants. Do not use the measure from a pair of BlueJeans, as they are tailored for a lower fit.
